Catalina (or Cat for short) has come to us with 7 years of experience in both sport’s and women’s health physiotherapy. Cat completed her Bachelor Degree of Applied Science in 2015 and then went on to complete her Masters Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia.

Very early into her career, Cat discovered her passion for all things involving women’s health and specifically pelvic floor physiotherapy. To quote Cat ‘for me, women’s health is incredibly rewarding because I get to empower women to take control of their bodies and feel comfortable in their own skin again’.

Cat also has a strong passion for movement and exercises, and believes that these are a key part to a healthy body and a healthy mind. Aside from treating women’s health, Cat can also help you with headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, pelvic pain and any other sport injuries or post-operative rehabilitation.

Catherine McArthur

Pelvic Floor and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Catherine (Cat) McArthur is a physiotherapist, graduating from the University of South Australia (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) before relocating to the Gold Coast in Queensland. Since graduating, Cat has undergone further study and training in Women’s & Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. Cat is experienced in working with clients during their pregnancy and postpartum journey as well as those experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction and general musculoskeletal conditions. With a large passion for overall health and wellbeing, Cat loves to help her clients continue to move and exercise with confidence and pain free.

Drawing on her own experience as an Olympic level athlete, Cat strives to work with her clients to ensure they are working towards their own goals and providing them with the tools in which they need to prevent injury throughout all stages of life. Educating and empowering others in order to become the master of their own bodies and health is how Cat practices as a physiotherapist.

Emma Barnes

Emma is available Wednesday and Thursday

Pelvic Floor and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Emma graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). She has 6 years experience in private practice where she has treated women’s health, pelvic floor, and musculoskeletal conditions. Since graduating, Emma has completed a number of courses to further her knowledge in areas such as urinary and faecal incontinence, constipation, overactive bladder, pregnancy, postnatal and pelvic pain. Emma also teaches Pilates in both a clinical setting, and within a reformer studio. Emma is passionate about helping women better understand the changes they will experience through their lifespan. She enjoys seeing her clients develop their confidence with movement and their body. Emma utilises a combination of education, exercise, and manual therapy to help women achieve their goals.

Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist

With nearly three years of experience as a dedicated Physiotherapist, Mackenzie is an expert in musculoskeletal care, treating a wide range of conditions including neck and back pain, upper and lower limb injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and sports-related concerns. Her journey into physiotherapy was sparked in childhood by her father, who would quiz her on the major bones of the body each night—a ritual that ignited her lifelong curiosity and passion for understanding the human body.

In the past year, Mackenzie has expanded her practice into the women’s health domain, where she has developed a deep appreciation for this specialized field. Working with women of all ages to enhance their understanding of their bodies has been incredibly rewarding for her, fueling her desire to focus more on this area. She is passionate about educating and empowering women to understand the "what," "how," and "why" of their health concerns, helping them move past feelings of blame or self-consciousness, particularly around pelvic pain and related issues.

Exercise and intentional movement are not only central to Mackenzie’s professional practice but also to her personal life. She believes that these elements are key to improving overall quality of life and is committed to integrating them into her therapeutic approach.

Bruna Pellenz

Remedial Massage Therapist

Bruna is a dedicated allied health professional with a holistic approach to optimizing well-being. With over a decade of experience as a Yoga Teacher and four years specializing in bodywork therapies, she blends her deep knowledge of movement and anatomy with a compassionate, hands-on approach to healing.

Bruna specializes in a wide range of soft tissue techniques, including Myofascial Release (MFR), Dry Needling, Chinese cupping, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Therapy, PNF stretches, and Kinesiology taping. Her expertise as a qualified Remedial Therapist allows her to effectively address musculoskeletal issues, while her ongoing pursuit of a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences (Osteopathic Studies) adds another layer of expertise to her skill set.

Her treatments are deeply influenced by her passion for yoga and functional movement, helping clients improve mobility, regulate breath, and cultivate mindfulness. With a strong commitment to continuing education in anatomy, physiology, and movement science, Bruna ensures her clients receive the highest standard of care, designed to support long-term well-being

Georgia Reupert Allen

Georgia Reupert-Allen is a Physiotherapist who is an expert in Womens Health and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy based on the Northern Rivers. Georgia has extensive knowledge and expertise in a wide range of womens health areas including pregnancy, postnatal, pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary and faecal incontinence and musculoskeletal conditions. Georgia graduated with Distinction from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). Since then Georgia has done a number of post graduate courses allowing her to assess and treat conditions specific to the complexities of Womens Health.

Claire Ryan

Claire is an Australian trained physiotherapist with 9 years experience in the Women’s, Men’s, & Pelvic Health field. Claire has worked in both public and private hospital and clinic settings in Brisbane, London, and now lives and practices on the Gold Coast, Australia.

Throughout Claire’s time working in the area of Pelvic Health she has delivered high quality care to an array of populations including antenatal & postnatal, gynaecological, urological, colorectal, and men’s health. She has worked as part of maternity, urogynaecological, and colorectal multidisciplinary teams in tertiary hospitals and has been a Senior Pelvic Health Physiotherapist in these settings. 

Claire prides herself on keeping up to date with the latest evidence and has completed an extensive amount of post graduate training in the area of Women’s and Men’s Health. She uses this plus her clinical experience to get great clinical outcomes.
